Gabriel Gordon is a singer/songwriter/guitarist originally from California. He lived in New York City for most of the 1990’s and has toured and/or recorded with artists such as : The Soup Dragons, Natalie Merchant, Meshell N’degeocello and Lokua Kanza. He has toured 4 continents as a musician and singer and lives in Montpellier, France. He released four albums of his own music in the US : Global Refugess (1999), Frequency (2000), Planetary Man (2001) and Gypsy Living (2004), all on Surprise Truck Entertainment. Gypsy Living was originally released in Germany in 2003 by Trocadero Records.
He has opened for Bob Dylan (with Natalie Merchant), and , earlier this year he opened for George Benson (at the Grand Rex in Paris) and Van Morrison (at the Olympia in Paris). His music is a mixture of soul, pop, rock and blues and he is currently working on a collaboration with Lokua Kanza.
