Reviews - Jason Darling - Rockpile Magzine

A multi-talented musician, Jason Darling takes a folky stab at softer rock with mellow results. His voice is alternately wispy and twangy while maintaining sincerity. Darling plays most of the instruments (guitar, bass, drums, etc.), and he's certainly adept on all of them. Underground is sort of a rootsy, folky, blues exploration with all the appeal of the alternative country movement. Darling may not be reinventing the wheel, but he's spinning it like a champ.
